About the Hader Clinic Queensland

The Hader Clinic Queensland is a private drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic based in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

We believe that everyone deserves the chance to live life to their full potential. For a lot of Australians this chance is misdirected by the grips of alcohol and drug addiction. The clinic’s holistic treatment model helps individuals heal not only physically and mentally, but spiritually as well. Once clients complete our rehabilitation program they re-emerge with a completely different outlook and a brand new lease on life.

Our Mission

The Hader Clinic Queensland provides ethical, compassionate, comfortable and highly effective treatment programs. We continually strive to maintain our position as Australia’s premier addictions and mental health treatment program through the facilitation of successful client outcomes. Our primary purpose is to fully relieve suffering addicts and families from the pain of active addiction and untreated mental illness.

The Hader Clinic’s History

The Raymond Hader Clinic was founded in 1998 by Richard Smith in honour of his deceased friend and colleague, Dr Ray Hader, with a vision to create a addiction treatment program that would treat drug and alcohol problems holistically.

What started as a counselling practice has grown over time into one of the country’s most respected treatment programs, with facilities now in Australia, Asia and Europe.

In 2015, the clinic undertook its second external clinical audit, which measured program outcomes.  The excellent results confirmed that the multifaceted and thorough nature of our treatment model and philosophy were continuing to change the lives of addicts and their families.

In 2016 the Hader Clinic Queensland became the first program in Australia to achieve ISO9001 accreditation for Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Services. This is just one of our ways of proving our commitment to being a leader in providing the very best care and services to treat addiction.

ACHS Accreditation

The Hader Clinic Queensland is Queensland’s only private alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre to have national accreditation from the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS).

It reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs, with the highest level of care.
