The residential addiction treatment program at the Hader Clinic is our most effective drug and alcohol recovery program. 74% of residents completing the full 90 program have remained drug or alcohol free*.
The residential treatment program involves you, or your loved one, staying in our private rehabilitation centre (north of Brisbane in the Sunshine Coast hinterland), for either a 30 or 90 day treatment. It is a safe, therapeutic and nurturing environment for both male and female clients away from the hustle and bustle – and temptation of the city. Residents have 24/7 treatment, care and support.
Our residential addiction recovery programme is open to adults, both men and women, who can afford our private care. There is no waiting list so admissions can be immediate. All treatments, accommodation (private room) and fresh, healthy food are included.
The retreat is a drug and alcohol-free zone.
Our staff are experienced working with people with a dual-diagnosis of substance dependence and other mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress and psychotic disorders.
Our staff include a registered nurse specialising in mental health, registered psychologists, and staff with qualifications in psychology, social work, social sciences, nursing and mental health.
Some staff members are ex-addicts who have successfully completed the Hader rehab program. They bring an invaluable insight with their own knowledge and experience of addiction and recovery so they understand what you are going through.
All our staff hold the appropriate qualifications for their roles and we hold ACHS accreditation.
Our treatment model provides a holistic and multi-faceted approach to addiction treatment for the mind, body and spirit. It includes:
All the addiction recovery programs are tailored individually to each resident and you will have a daily schedule which includes individual and group therapy, workshops, physical exercise meetings and more. A typical day is shown below.
Based on a 2015 clinical study investigating the current status of former residents who undertook the full 90 day residential addiction treatment program, a 74%* recovery rate (total abstinence from drugs or alcohol) was recorded.
We know that taking the first step to recovery is the hardest to do, either if you are an addict or you are trying to get help for a loved one. The fact that you are here, reading this, is a great start. We encourage you to now give one of our trained staff a call on 1300 856 847 (or via email here) to organise a free, no-obligation consultation with one of our qualified helpers who can give you more information on treatment options.
