The Admission Process

Hader Clinic Queensland understands that the prosect of starting treatment for addiction is a big, daunting, yet life-changing step. We aim to make your admission as quick, smooth and efficient as possible.

Fast Admission

There is often only a limited window of opportunity when someone either asks for help or admits they need rehab. Being a private treatment clinic, we offer priority admissions ensuring treatment is received without delay.

Free Initial Consultation

If you are considering either our detox and introductory AOD education program, or our intensive residential rehabilitation program, you may wish to schedule in an initial consultation with our Admissions team. All consultations are confidential and obligation-free providing you with the opportunity to discuss the situation and explore appropriate treatment options.

Consultations are held at our head office in Spring Hill (Brisbane) or can be conducted on the phone/online for those in regional areas/interstate. If appropriate, an intake assessment will be scheduled and reviewed by our clinical team within 24-48 hours.

Your first 24 hours

On arrival, you will undergo an assessment with our nurse and GP to assess your physical health status, and commence a supervised medical detox, if required. You will also be seen by one of our clinicians to start planning your treatment goals.

Your first week

During your first week, you will have a period of grace to allow you to settle in. One of the senior residents of the therapeutic community will be allocated to you to orient you to the new environment, the program and the other residents.

Our team of lived experience and clinical staff will do their best to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Whilst this may initially feel daunting, there is support through each step of your recovery.
