The Admission Process
We know the prospect of starting treatment for addiction, and going to rehab is daunting and a big, life-changing step. We aim to make your admission as quick, smooth and efficient as possible.
Immediate admission
There is often only a limited window of opportunity when an addict either asks for help or admits they need rehab. Being a private rehabilitation centre we do not have a waiting list and can offer immediate admissions, allowing you to seize on this opportunity.
Having to wait for a place in rehab can not only mean you lose the addict’s moment of willingness to enter rehab, but it can also be life-threatening.
The admission process usually takes around 24 hours. We accept admissions from Monday to Thursday each week.
Free initial consultation
If you are considering our residential rehab program you may wish to meet with us for a consultation. We do not charge for initial consultations and this provides you the opportunity to meet with us and discuss your personal situation, drug use history and recommended treatment options. We ask for information to help us have a clear understanding of your requirements so we can best support you during your time with us.
The consult is obligation free.
Consultations are held at our head office in Spring Hill, Brisbane.
For a better chance of admitting your loved one into rehab, we recommend both the addict and the family or friends to be present at the consultation. However if this is not possible and you are considering an intervention, it is still beneficial for the family to attend the consultation without the addict.
We appreciate face-to-face consults are not always possible, especially for those looking for addiction treatment from regional Queensland, or from other States. In this situation we can conduct the consultation via telephone or Skype.
Your first 24 hours
During your first 24 hours in our residential addiction treatment program you will be assessed by our registered nurse who will be supervising your detox if this is required.
Your first week
Once you have settled into the retreat you will meet the counsellor who will be looking after your treatment and undertaking your individual counselling. This is an opportunity to discuss our program with the counsellor in more detail and go through any additional questions you have had since your admission. You will also be given your individual treatment plan.
Once your admission is complete, our friendly team at the retreat will do their best to make you feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. You will also be introduced to the other recovering addicts undergoing rehab. This may initially feel daunting but you will create long term friendships and become part of a community that will help you in your recovery, long after finishing our program.
Ready to ask for help?
We encourage you to give one of our trained staff a call on 1300 856 847 (or via email here) to organise the free, no-obligation consultation.
